Two Muay Thai fighters trade kicks under the ring lights in Bangkok

Feb 20 - Mar 6, 2027

14 days of Muay Thai in Bangkok.

Train with real Thai trainers. Stay at a 5-star hotel next door to the gym. Fight nights, massages, food, and every ride: all booked.

You've thought about it.You haven't gone.

Everyone who trains has the same dream: go to Thailand and do it for real. Then the questions start.

Which gym should I pick? There are hundreds.

How do I even get around Bangkok?

Do I really want to do this alone?

Am I fit enough to keep up?

How do I get good fight tickets without paying tourist prices?

What if I get lost and can't read anything?

Do I need my own gear?

What if I get scammed?

I don't want to spend the whole trip planning things.

So you watch other people do it on YouTube. Another year goes by. This trip answers every one of those questions. And you won't do it alone.

You book the flight. We handle the rest.

Real Muay Thai, real Bangkok, and real luxury. The hard part of training in Thailand was never the training. It is everything around it. So we took all of it off your plate.

A group training session at Migaku, with students throwing punches together on the gym floor
  1. Land

Your ride from the airport is booked, and so is the one back at the end. Your Thai SIM and BTS card are ready.

  2. Train together

A 90-minute training session every weekday with real Thai trainers at Migaku, an authentic Muay Thai gym right next door to the hotel. Water and snacks are ready to keep you on your game. Side by side with your new teammates.

  3. Recover

A room at a 5-star hotel with an infinity pool and a rooftop bar, breakfast every morning, a shared lunch after every session, a foot massage after every session, and 2 passes to a Japanese onsen (hot pools, sauna, and a cold plunge).

  4. Watch

Fight nights with your crew at Rajadamnern and Lumpinee, the two most famous stadiums in the world, plus open-air fights at MBK. We roll up to Rajadamnern by tuk-tuk and ride private vans to Lumpinee.

  5. Explore together

Wat Pho with a licensed guide, Chatuchak market, the malls, and a farewell dinner at Octave, a 360° rooftop over the city. We explore as a team, with time of your own built in.

  6. Belong

Come alone, go home with real friends. A tight-knit circle of people who love Muay Thai as much as you do.

Come alone.Leave with a crew.

This is not a gym pass and a hotel key. It's a small group of people who love Muay Thai, training, eating, and exploring Bangkok together for two weeks. With time of your own built in.

  1. Before you fly

    Meet your people

Welcome calls and a group chat, so you know faces and names before you land.

  2. Every morning

    Train side by side

Same session, same sweat, same trainers. You push each other through every round.

  3. Every afternoon

    Eat and explore together

Shared lunches, markets, temples, malls. Join in, or take an afternoon for yourself.

  4. Every big night

    Celebrate together

Fight nights, two rooftop dinners, and the stories you tell for years.

Two nights you won't forget.

Friends raise their glasses over a table of shared plates at Madura rooftop

Night 1 · Welcome dinner

Madura, 32nd floor

The night you land, we go up to the hotel's own rooftop. Shared plates, a first toast, and the whole skyline. Strangers at the first toast, friends by dessert.

Last night · Farewell dinner

Octave, 45th floor

Two weeks later, we finish 45 floors above Bangkok at Octave, the 360° rooftop of the Bangkok Marriott. Dinner, the stories from the fight nights, and one last look at the city.

A city. Not a resort.

Most Muay Thai trips put you in a beach camp for two weeks, far from everything. We put you and your training partners in the heart of Thailand.

A typical camp

  • Far from real Thai life: a tourist strip where most people you meet are foreigners
  • Hours from Rajadamnern and Lumpinee, the stadiums every fighter dreams about
  • Big training sessions: 30 or more people for each trainer, and little time on the pads
  • Nothing to do but Muay Thai, so people overtrain and get hurt
  • One more flight or a long drive after a 20-hour trip
  • Basic rooms: fans, shared bathrooms, and thin walls
  • Same resort, same food, every day

This trip

  • Bangkok: the capital, and the home of Muay Thai
  • Fight nights at Rajadamnern and Lumpinee, the most famous stadiums in the sport
  • Our own session time at Migaku, with real Thai trainers
  • One session a day: enough to improve, with time to recover and explore
  • Land at BKK, and your ride to the hotel is already booked
  • A 5-star hotel with a pool and a rooftop bar, next door to the gym
  • Malls, markets, temples, and some of the best food on earth
The Bangkok skyline and the BTS skytrain at sunset

The best fights on earth.Live, with your training partners.

Other camps take you to whatever stadium is near the beach. We take you to the two stadiums every fighter dreams about, and to the open-air ring in the heart of Bangkok. We go as a crew. Seats booked, transport handled.

The giant golden Reclining Buddha inside Wat Pho in Bangkok

Sunday morning, week 1

Temple tour: Wat Pho

Stand in front of the 46-meter golden Reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is also the birthplace of Thai massage. It's the calm, beautiful side of Thailand, and the culture that Muay Thai grew out of. The perfect break from the gym, and photos you'll keep forever.

A busy aisle at Chatuchak Weekend Market with colorful stalls

Sunday afternoon, week 1

Chatuchak weekend market

One of the biggest markets in the world: thousands of stalls of street food, vintage, art, and Muay Thai shorts at local prices. We go hunting as a pack. You come back with stories, and a bag full of things you didn't know you needed.

Russell throws a roundhouse kick into a Fairtex bag at a Muay Thai gym in Thailand

From the heavy bagto Bangkok.

I'm Russell. I'm a guy over 30 who fell in love with boxing and Muay Thai. Five years of training, mostly from YouTube. Then I went to Bangkok and trained for real. Twice.

The first time, I figured everything out the hard way. Which area. Which gym. How the trains work. What to skip. This trip is everything I wish someone had handed me on day one.

Real Thai trainers lead every session. I handle everything else. I'm with you every day, from the airport to the last session. I've done this on my own more than once, so you get all the local knowledge without the learning curve.

Russell, founder of Jabster

This is for you if

  • You've always wanted to train Muay Thai in Thailand, and you want it done right the first time.
  • You're a beginner who wants a great start, or you train already and want to level up.
  • You're coming solo, with a friend, or as a couple. Men and women welcome.
  • You want to train hard and have the time of your life doing it.

All we ask

  • Show up

Be at every training session, ready to work.

  • Bring the energy

Push each other, look out for each other, have fun.

  • Respect the culture

We're guests in the gym and in the city.

Questions

Something not covered here? Book a call and ask me directly.

I've never done Muay Thai. Can I come?

Yes. All levels welcome. The Thai trainers at Migaku work with beginners every day and meet you where you are. You'll be amazed how far you get in two weeks.

I already train. Will this be too easy?

No. A 90-minute session with Thai trainers is a real test, and they will push you as far as you want to go. You also get a session with a champion.

Why one training session a day?

Because one Thai session is a real workout, and you're in Bangkok. We train hard together in the morning, recover with a massage and the onsen, then explore the city together.

Will I fit in if I come alone?

Yes. Most people come solo. You meet everyone on the welcome calls before the trip, you're in the group chat before you land, and by the first dinner you'll know everyone by name. Couples and friends are welcome too.

Can I share a room?

Yes, with someone you know, like your partner or a friend. Both of you train. You book first and put a hold on your card. You then send your roommate a link, and they hold their own deposit with their own card within 72 hours. When both holds are in, we charge both cards at the same time. If your roommate does not pay in time, we release your hold and you pay nothing. We never pair strangers.

I'm over 40 (or 50). Can I keep up?

Yes. The trainers adjust to you, and recovery is built in: a foot massage after every training session, plus 2 onsen day passes with a sauna and ice bath.

What does the price include?

Everything on this page: the 5-star hotel, breakfast, a shared lunch after every training session, training sessions, fight nights, culture trips, airport rides, the tuk-tuk ride and private vans to the fights, snacks at every session, massages, onsen passes, a licensed temple guide, a farewell dinner at the Octave rooftop, SIM, BTS card, and your fight kit. You bring your flight, money for dinners, and spending money.

When do I book my flight?

After we email you "trip confirmed," on or before December 26, 2026. Arrive on Sat, Feb 20, 2027 at any time, and fly home on Sat, Mar 6, 2027.

How do payments work?

A $1,000 deposit holds your spot at today's price. Pay the rest in up to 3 payments, all by December 26, 2026.

What if my plans change?

Your money is never lost. Give your spot to a friend, or keep it as credit for any Jabster retreat in the next 12 months.

This is over my budget. Is there a cheaper option?

Yes. We are planning a hostel edition: the same training sessions, fight nights, and team spirit, with a budget stay, on different dates, at a lower price. Join the hostel list and get the dates and the price first.

Will I feel lost in Bangkok?

Not with us. We walk you through the city on day two: the trains, the malls, the food, the local tips. And you're with the crew whenever you want to be.

Can I work remotely during the trip?

Yes. Your hotel room has wifi, and training is in the morning or early afternoon. Bangkok is about 12 hours ahead of the US East Coast.

Will I be filmed?

Yes, and you'll love it. Every attendee gets a personal film of their two weeks.

Why can't I book from my state?

At this time, we cannot accept bookings from residents of California, Florida, Washington, or Hawaii because of state travel-seller regulations. We hope to open these states in the future.
